Alabama football offensive tackle JC Latham didn't bother holding back his emotions as he experienced the moment he's been working for: getting drafted in the NFL.

So much so that, after the Tennessee Titans took the Crimson Tide tackle with the No. 7 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, Latham picked up NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and gave him a bear hug as they met him on the stage in Detroit.

It has become a tradition like no other over the last handful of years for Goodell to receive the type of reaction Latham gave him. But, considering Goodell had back surgery a few weeks ago, there was some uncertainty if it would happen this year.

Latham is the first Alabama player off the big board in the 2024 NFL Draft as he heads to Tennessee, where Titans executive vice president and general manager Ran Carthon has already said the Tide offensive lineman will start at left tackle for the Titans this upcoming season.
